An Andalusian Adventure - the title says it all!!

This is an exciting and challenging programme that introduces campers who are enthusiastic about outdoor life to a thrilling range of water sports and beach activities. Just 10 minutes from Camp a short drive takes us to our beach base, the beautiful, uncrowded Playa de la Barrosa with its extensive stretch of white sand washed by the turquoise water and rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The activities also take adventure campers into the forests and trails that surround the camp and use the excellent on-site activity facilities at our campus.

Programme Overview

This new programme will be in the hands of the Village Camps Adventure leader and his staff working closely with specially selected local, qualified adventure experts with a constant emphasis on care and safety. Every morning activities will be planned and the campers prepared in advance for the two great weeks ahead! From the beach-base we start with an introduction to Surfing with the specialist qualified instructors of the local highly regarded and experienced Surf School.

On other days every camper will snorkel in crystal clear waters, go Boogie Boarding and master the art of Stand-Up Paddling. Another thrill is learning to kayak with the reward of making it out to a small castle on a tiny island off the shore. There will till be time for beach volleyball, swimming and just chilling out. And for something different Stunt Kite Flying, an exciting fun pastime where we launch controlled kites high into the blue skies working off the beach. Away from the beach enjoy the mountain biking and hiking trails through a shady Eucalyptus forest close to camp, climbing, abseiling and archery.

Accommodation, Excursions & Activities

The Camps base is at the Complejo Campano in Chiclana de la Frontera, an attractive and superbly equipped complex built in traditional Andalusian style. The impressive range of excellent leisure and sports facilities include a fine Olympic-size swimming pool, two artificial climbing walls. a 200 meter zip line, basketball courts and two practice hard-surface soccer pitches with conventional pitches about 15 minutes away.
