Our summer programs are designed to give parents affordable, professional and easy access to childcare regardless of their ability to pay.
What does a typical day at camp involve?
A typical day at camp will involve a morning of training and practices based around a specific skill or technique such as dribbling, finishing or passing. This is followed by an afternoon of small-sided matches and tournaments either side of a lunch break.
Who can Attend the camp?
All boys and girls aged 6-13 are welcome, regardless of ability or previous playing experience.
What is the cost?
Our current prices at Market Road work out as £160 for the week. As a charity, Bloomsbury Football Foundation ensures that all players are able to attend our camps irrespective of their ability to pay. We, therefore, offer financial assistance to those that need.
What should my child wear/bring to the camp?
We ask that all children are dressed ready for sport and appropriately for the weather. Shin pads are essential, your child may not be able to take part in some (or all) of the activities if they do not bring shin pads. Children can wear trainers, astroturfs or football boots. In inclement weather, we recommend layers, so that your child can take off/put on extra layers if they get too hot or cold. Players should bring a nut-free snack, packed lunch and plenty of fluids.
Can I stay and watch my child?
No, parent(s)/guardian(s) aren’t allowed to stay and watch except for the first 30 minutes of their child’s first day at camp.
What times do our camp days run to and from?
At Market Road, registration is 10am and collection is 3pm.
What happens if it rains?
Unless it is pouring, we will continue to play outdoors. In the event of torrential rain, we have access to a large indoor room in which we can run activities and games.
