CHELSEA FC DEVELOPMENT CAMP (10-12) AT BRADFIELD COLLEGE

OVERVIEW

Stay at the prestigious Charterhouse School and join Chelsea Football Club’s world-class coaching team to take your football to the next level. Residential 6- or 13-night camps at Charterhouse School for 10-12-year-old boys. Players can choose to focus entirely on their football with our Total Football programme or combine football training with English language lessons on the Football + English camp. There will also be specialist goalkeeper training available each week for goalkeepers

SUITABLE FOR

Football Level:
All abilities however Total Football is a very intensive camp and not suitable for complete beginners.

English Level:

• Football + English Option: All abilities except native level English speakers
• Total Football Option: Not suitable for basic level English speakers

FOOTBALL COACHING

• Coaching from Chelsea FC Foundation, one of the world’s leading football, education and community programmes
• Coaching delivered at Bradfield College
• High-intensity training tailored to individual level, with a focus on playing as a team. Competitive games each week.
• Weekly training session and matches at Chelsea FC’s Training Centre in Cobham
• Average of 14 students per coaching group, maximum of 16
• Coaching report and attendance certificate to take home

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSONS

• Curriculum uses CLIL approach used in top schools worldwide
• Includes sports-focused English curriculum
• Average of 12 students per class, maximum of 14
• Highly qualified, native-level English teachers
• Project work
• Helps students prepare for IGCE, IELTS, Trinity, Cambridge, ESB, GESE and CAE exams
• English report to take home

TOTAL SPORT WORKSHOPS

• Workshops delivered by coaches and specialist staff
• Introducing players to range of topics to give better understanding of athletic performance
• Interactive debates in English
• In addition, some recovery exercises, such as yoga, will take place
