The Official FC Barcelona Football Camp in London offers boys and girls, ages 5 – 16, the opportunity to experience specialized football training through an official partnership with the world’s most successful football team and their expert coaches. Enjoy exclusive access to FC Barcelona’s world-renowned training methods at the world-class facilities of the prestigious Harrow School, in London, England.

FC Barcelona’s coaches will be assisted by specialized local coaches to ensure practices offer players the most time possible on the ball, working to improve their games– tactically, technically, and mentally — in the exact same way that the youth and professional teams do at FC Barcelona.

The residential option houses players ages 10 – 16 in a dedicated boarding house fully supervised by our own residential staff. Three meals a day are provided and football training is supplemented by workshops, a full range of fun activities and trips throughout London including a private visit to Wembley stadium.

Price includes coaching, an official Nike FC Barcelona Camp uniform, on-site athletic medical care, water, fruit, off-field supervision, and facilities insurance.

LOCATION:

The Harrow School is located at 5 High St, Harrow on the Hill, Middlesex HA1 3HP, United Kingdom. Dropoff and pickup details will be sent to participants and parents before camp begins in August. Camp runs daily 9:00 to 15:00. On the first day of camp (Monday), please arrive at 8:00 to go through registration and orientation.

DAILY SCHEDULE:

MORNING TRAINING SESSION

9:00 – 10:30: Get warmed up and into the game with drills and activities designed to improve your technical level.

BREAK

10:30 – 11:00: Get out of the sun and have something to drink and some fruit to eat!

SECOND TRAINING SESSION

11:00 – 12:30: Work with FC Barcelona’s coaches to become more familiar with FC Barcelona’s unique style of play. Finish up by putting your new skills into action.

BREAK

12:30 – 13:00: Take a break and refuel for the last stretch of the day.

THEORETICAL/TACTICAL SESSION

13:00 – 14:30: The field sessions are complemented by carefully designed football lessons to help improve your understanding of the game. These will be given daily and are led by an FC Barcelona coach on topics such as strategy, tactics and game analysis.

F.A.Q.

· DO I HAVE TO BRING MY WATER TO TRAINING? Water is not required as it will be provided by the camp.

· CAN PARENTS WATCH TRAINING SESSIONS? Parents are more than welcome to stay and watch pitch training sessions (not in theoretical/tactical session). We’ll set up a specific area for parents to watch from so that they can observe safely. Additionally, please don’t interrupt training with comments or coaching advice for players or staff. There will be times when photography and video are allowed, and others when they are prohibited.

· HOW WILL PLAYERS BE DIVIDED? Upon arrival, players will be broken into three big groups based on age. Once the coaches get an idea of each player’s level and ability, they may shift players between groups to find the best fit for each camper.

· IS THIS A TRYOUT FOR LA MASIA? The Camp offers players the chance to see how FC Barcelona’s youth and first teams train. It is not designed or run to recruit or scout players. The coaches are all FCB employees and are always looking for talent, but the camps do not send players to the FC Barcelona youth system directly.

There is the possibility that players will be chosen from each camp to train at the club’s training ground in Sant Joan Despi. Those decisions will be made solely by the FC Barcelona staff in London and will be done by looking at players’ attitude, sportsmanship, and dedication, as well as talent level.

· WHO ARE THE COACHES? The head coaches come from FC Barcelona’s famous Escola. They work year-round training FC Barcelona youth players, helping them improve tactically and technically, with the goal of eventually becoming professionals. The FC Barcelona coaches will be assisted by experienced local coaches who will help run drills and keep players organized. There will also be a licensed athletic trainer on site to deal with any injuries or medical issues that arise.

· ARE YOUR CAMPS LICENSED? Yes. Our camps are fully licensed and approved by local authorities. And of course, our camp is licensed by FC Barcelona — that’s why they send us their coaches, and that’s why we are able to offer a camp at the club’s official training ground in Barcelona.
