OVERVIEW

Stay at Radley College, a prestigious private school near Oxford and improve your basketball with our world-class coaching team. Choose a 6- or 13-night camp and either a Total Basketball Camp or opt to combine basketball training with English language lessons on the Basketball and English programme.

Basketball Level:
All abilities however this is a very intensive camp and not suitable for complete beginners.

English Level:

Basketball + English Option: All abilities except native-level English speakers
Total Basketball Option: Not suitable for basic-level English speakers

BASKETBALL COACHING

Coaching programme designed by former Team GB Olympian and professional player Eric Boateng
Coaches work on ratios of 1:8 on court
Coaches use demonstration, practice and feedback to help players to improve
Players focus on improving fundamental skills and technique in a fun environment.
Players learn to master new shooting skills, defensive movements, and team tactics
Coaching report and attendance certificate to take home

ENGLISH LANGUAGE LESSONS

Curriculum uses CLIL approach used in top schools worldwide
Includes sports-focused English curriculum
Average of 12 students per class, maximum of 14
Highly qualified, native-level English teachers
Project work
Helps students prepare for IGCE, IELTS, Trinity, Cambridge, ESB, GESE and CAE exams

TOTAL SPORT WORKSHOPS

Workshops delivered by coaches and specialist staff
Introducing players to range of topics to give better understanding of athletic performance
Interactive debates in English
Examples of topics: Nutrition, Diversity & Inclusion, Injury Prevention
