Petit-competition is a specific and personalized plan for under 12-years-old tennis players, who are interested in keep improving their skills and have fun while they are training during the winter.

The program

Petit-competition under 12 years old child has a specific schedule for the kids to play tennis, meanwhile they are doing a personalized training in a high competition academy, with the focus remaining on the guidelines to the match and the different tennis styles.

Furthermore, a rural hotel located in the academy, is available for the parents who want to be near to their kids during their stay.

The program lasts from September to May (included) and it follows a specific schedule, throughout the players can work in an interactive way such as: tennis strategies, healthy habits or psychology and fitness training according to the level and age of each player.

About JC Ferrero Academy

JCFerrero-Equelite is recognised as one of the best tennis academies in the world. Accompanied by an excellent climate all year round, there are some magnificent installations situated strategically in order to facilitate the focus and concentration of tennis players.

A large number of technical staff work day-to-day in the complex. A full team with WTA & ATP experience will cover all the possible needs of a tennis player using a personal approach.

A significant number of our young players, dominate the national rankings in their respective categories, including international players such as Pablo Carreño-Busto (40ATP) o Nicola Kuhn (10ITFjunior).

While all this is marvellous, and we do consider ourselves to be the best in the field, it is true that other large academies also count on good facilities and trainers. So, why choose Equelite?

Equelite offers two things which no other academy in the world does and of which we feel extremely proud.

The first is that one of our first players to graduate from the academy, managed to reach world no1. Juan Carlos Ferrero not only lives in the academy and knows all the players on personal basis, he also supervises training sessions and schedules, and puts himself on court to help our players reach their goals.

The second is a family environment which has characterised the academy for over 25 years. We feel proud to present the academy as a great big family where players and staff live and learn together.

The academy is a place where several of the best players in the world such as Juan Carlos Ferrero or Pablo Carreño train daily. It also has rooms for players or adults who want to stay with us.

JC Ferrero Tennis Academy is located 5 minutes away from Villena and 30 minutes away from the Airport and beach of Alicante. The area of the Academy is 120.000m2, which is a perfect place for the players to achieve their goals. We provide all the best facilities for our players. Absolute advantage of the academy is an excellent weather throughout the year.
