Program description

During the year, we offer the possibility that players from all over the world come to the academy and take part of the annual program but in shorter periods. So, they can performance an intense practice to face a tournament, in a specific surface and develop their preseason.

The training plan is developed by our team, composed of trainers, physical trainers, physiotherapists, doctors, psychologists, etc., qualified by the most prestigious organizations in the world and with many years of experience; and directed by Juan Carlos Ferrero and Antonio Martínez Cascales. Both of them, as well as part of the staff, live in the same facilities. This with the aim of maintaining the existing family atmosphere in the academy since its inception.

Program options

Professional: ATP and WTA players can coma too academy with their coach to use JC Ferrero Academy’s facilities and get ready for tournaments. The academy provides Clay, Hard, Indoor and Grass Surfaces. Moreover, they would be able to support their trainings with hitting partners.

Preseason: The academy prepares players for a new season from the month of November/December.

Specific preparation for tournaments: enjoy the competition program to prepare tournaments in a specific surface, highlighting the order of game, the tactic, the percentage and competitiveness… JC Ferrero Academy also gives the players the possibility of enrolling in circuits using their facilities to prepare theses tournaments.

About JC Ferrero Academy

JCFerrero-Equelite is recognised as one of the best tennis academies in the world. Accompanied by an excellent climate all year round, there are some magnificent installations situated strategically in order to facilitate the focus and concentration of tennis players.

A large number of technical staff work day-to-day in the complex. A full team with WTA & ATP experience will cover all the possible needs of a tennis player using a personal approach.

A significant number of our young players, dominate the national rankings in their respective categories, including international players such as Pablo Carreño-Busto (40ATP) o Nicola Kuhn (10ITFjunior).

While all this is marvellous, and we do consider ourselves to be the best in the field, it is true that other large academies also count on good facilities and trainers. So, why choose Equelite?

Equelite offers two things which no other academy in the world does and of which we feel extremely proud.

The first is that one of our first players to graduate from the academy, managed to reach world no1. Juan Carlos Ferrero not only lives in the academy and knows all the players on personal basis, he also supervises training sessions and schedules, and puts himself on court to help our players reach their goals.

The second is a family environment which has characterised the academy for over 25 years. We feel proud to present the academy as a great big family where players and staff live and learn together.

JC Ferrero Tennis Academy is located 5 minutes away from Villena and 30 minutes away from the Airport and beach of Alicante. The area of the Academy is 120.000m2, which is a perfect place for the players to achieve their goals. We provide all the best facilities for our players. Absolute advantage of the academy is an excellent weather throughout the year.
